Match report Railway won toss and decided to field. Malahide opening partnership was 125 with Caoimhe(79 off 52balls) playing super shots, Sorcha(40no) batting through and Lara playing nice cameo of 24 off 12 balls. Meant Malahide posted 157 for 1 off 20 overs.
Rebekah continued her great form with the ball and struck early for Malahide to put Railway on back foot.Her spell of 4-24 combined with Lara's 1-26 got the important wickets needed in the the 1st 10 overs. Malahide fielding came good at crucial times when Railway kept working their way back into the game.2 very good catches from Meabh and Tess were trumped by catch of the season by Rebekah(low at point) to break the partnership between A. Callaghan(14 & RU skipper) and Olibhia Collins(33no) that was beginning to look like getting Railway back into the game. Tess took over from sister Lara and Sorcha from Rebekah. Olibhia Collins was hitting the ball well but Malahide picked up couple crucial run outs to seal the win with 63 runs to spare
