Match report Malahide 3s made slightly heavy weather of beating Terenure 2s in the Middle Cup, they eventually overhauled Terenure's 175 for 8 with 10 balls to spare but with Malahide putting down a number of catches in the outfield they probably ended up chasing about 40 more than their bowling deserved. Conor Gibbons (1 for 22) and Steve Smith (2 for 25) were the pick of a very good bowling attack. The Malahide chase was dominated by a partnership of 74 for the 3rd wicket between Riley Shoebridge (52) and Des Horstmann (47) who hit 16 boundaries between them. The catching apart this was a good alround performance by the 3rds.
