Match report On a beautiful morning Malahide won the toss and elected to bowl. Phoenix were limited to a total of 110 - 5 , including 29 extras. There were two wickets apiece for Ryan Court and Alex Hallows and one for Ravi. Fielding was greatly improve don recent performances and there were excellent catches taken by Ryan, Ravi, David O'Halloran and Alex.

This total looked achievable, but missing three of the usual top six batting line up we managed to end up 15 runs short - although some poor shot selection and even worse calling accounted for most of the top five who will look back on a less than ferocious Phoenix bowling attack and realise they missed out. Only Ryan Court made a score, retiring on 38 although there were starts for Cormac (7), Alex (9)and Ravi (11).

The team featured a number of under-11's who made good contributions in the field, and special mention to Ben Askew who hit two fours (with proper cricket shots!) and bowled a good spell as well and Eoghan Keohane who ended not out on 2.
