Malahide Cricket Club Lost By 66 runs

Match report Malahide 3rd XI won the toss and decide to field first and got off to a good start restricting Merrion to around 2 runs per over for the first 12 overs and a slow, bowler friendly surface. But with wickets in hand, Merrion got going only for the villagers to clean up the tail quickly bowling the home side out for seemed like a modest 146.

In reply and with only 10 batsmen, Malahide never got going and despite an agressive 24 from Willie Richardson, were bowled out for a miserable 80 in the 30th over.

One win from either Saturday's game at North County or Monday night's T22 game at Railway Union will be still be required to avoid relegation.
