Match report In the first Men's game on Malahide's new top pitch, Malahide 4th XI took on Wicklow County 2nd XI. The home side lost the toss and were invited to bat. A steady opening partnership of 42 between Koushik CS and Conor Herbert set a firm base. Batting at No 3, Inderjit Singh made a superb 72 before being unfortuanetly run out. A breezy 18 from Willie Richardson and 20 not out from Alan Quinn helped Malahide to 185-7 in their 45 overs.

In reply, Wicklow were soon in trouble losing wickets in Conor Gibbons and Howard Askew in the first 2 overs. A good 3rd wicket partnership between Rahman and Clifden was eventually broken by Inderjit Singh, who ended up with 5 for 7 in his six overs and capped a briiant all-round display.
