Match report Loosing the toss and being put into bat the Girls had a disastrous start loosing 2 wickets in the first over. However a solid partnership from Fiona and Sorcha soon pushed the runs along and when both were subsequently out Emily and Caoimhe aided by a plethora of byes from the Rush bowlers had pushed the target to 74.

The Malahide bowlers produced some excellent returns with Fiona's 2 wickets for 7 runs off 5 overs, Meabh's 1/14/5, Naoimhe's 1/9/5, Margaret's 1/2/2 and Sorcha's 0/9/3 ensuring that Rush never got near the total, finishing on 47 for 6 off their 20 overs.
