YMCA opened the batting with a 181 run opening partnership which including a wonderful century by Jack Tecter. Malahide began to take wickets with Robert Chambers taking 3 of the 5 for 38 runs. YMCA set a challenging 226 runs. Malahide responding with a steady start which included a solid Captains innings from Malcolm Rosbrook(37) and an excellent 74 by Robert Chambers set up a nail biting finish. With 2 overs remaining, Malahide required 21 runs to win. Oisin Taylor and Cameron Shoebridge saw Malahide across the finish line with a 62 run partnership which included a 19 run penultimate over. Malahide 5th XI included 11 year old R. Shoebridge.
