Match report 3RD XI Collapse in hammering.
A spectacular 152 by Ian Walshe backed up by an excellent 57 by Rob Neavyn helped North Kildare pile the misery upon the Malahide bowling. Setting a target of 317 to win, this was always going to be a big ask for Malahide. Despite losing two early wickets Brian Gilmore (70) and Hamish Manks (56 not out) put on a 110 run partnership. However that's where the resistance ended as veteran Nigel Pyne took (5-25) which included an amazing last 3 ball hat-trick which concluded a collapse of Biblical proportions with Malahide losing their last 8 wickets for just 11 runs. North Kildare win by 156 Runs.
