A committed Malahide eleven couldn't quite make the strong total achieved by Pembroke, losing by  37 runs.  Two very good Pembroke innings, both largely consisting of boundaries, allied with a couple of perhaps unfortunate decisions in the Malahide innings meant Malahide were always behind the required run rate.  Nevertheless, all players contributed, with Tony O'Connor stepping up to help out the A team.  He fielded well, along with Ewan, Rory, Eoghan and Christopher.  Strong contributions with the bat from Ben, Paul, Matthew and Dan : the latter two posting their highest scores at this level.  Good bowling contributions from Ben, Diarmuid, Ciaran and Paul.  In addition to hitting 29, Ben returned impressive figures of 3 for 12 off 3 overs.  Good individual effort and strong team performance.  Well done.
