A very late change of venue saw our under11c travel to Balbriggan. Captain for the day Mitchell Grant won the toss and elected to Bat first with the hope of posting a defendable score. Good Partnerships between Oscar McCormack / Justin Court and Finn Clyne / Rian Doran helped Malahide to an impressive score of 166 for 4 from their 20 overs.

Bowling conditions in both innings proved to be hard with driving wind and a drop in temperature making it difficult to control the ball in hand. In total Balbriggan bowled 30 wides
in comparison to Malahide only bowling 16. This impressive display of bowling from our boys was in fact the winning of the game.

The pick of the Malahide attack was Mitchell Grant 1 for 3; Sean Condron 2 for 12; Oscar McCormack 1 for 5 and Euan Dodds  1 for 8.

Other highlights from the game included a superb catch from Rian Doran and fantastic run out from the always reliable Charlie Askew.
