The 1st XI had their promotion to Division 1 confirmed at the weekend without playing a match. Our Fingal neighbours did us a huge favour with Balbriggan beating Cork County by 89 runs and Rush enjoying a much closer win by 1 wicket over Leinster. The 2 results ensure that Malahide will definitely finish in the top 2 with next Sunday's fixture away to Cork becoming effectively a decider for the Division 2 title. Congratulations to Callum , Reinhardt and the rest of the lads who have played consistently good cricket all Summer.
