Arriving at Merrion the lack of U11 opposition warming up had the alarm bells ringing.  Then the "Ohh sorry refix for cup game.... Thats now not going ahead".  However the clubs quickly reschuduled a 3 over per pair Merrion U13 Girls v MCC U11b Boys match.  Batting first and loosing a wicket first ball it might have looked like the wrong move. The lads stuck to the task making 4-87.  Then restricted the girls to 7-84 keeping them unbeaten to date!
