Thirds secured a comfortable victory against Greystones 1 in a top of the table clash on the main pitch in the Village.  The men from Wicklow never really got going despite some inconsistant bowling and finished up with 184 for 9 off 45.  Top wicket takers were Ronan McGeehan 3/45 off 9 and leg spin Will Richardson with 2/42.  Hamish Manks was his usual economical self with 1/17 off 9 including 4 maidens.  Stephen Rubbathan 30, Richard Wing 26 and Mick O'Brien 32 laid the foundation for captain Desmond Horstman to blast a quick fire 47*.  Manks 20* was also there at the end as Malahide won by 6 wickets with 6 overs to spare.
The thirds are again in league action this Wednesday in the Village at 1.30 against Terenure 2.
