1st XI Win Alan Murray T20 Cup

In the first semi-final, Malahide defeated Leinster by 4 wickets as they chased down 136 in 16.4 overs. James Newland took 3-27 as Leinster were bowled out for 135 before Alan Reynolds hammered 59 off 31 balls.

In the final they emerged victorious with a 32 run victory over Clontarf. Matt Ford hit 79 off 23 balls in our 160 off the 20 overs. Peter Chase (2-14), Keith Reynolds (3-39) and James Newland (2-23) took wickets at regular intervals and Kelvin Donnelly (2-24) executed an incredible caught and bowled to finish off our local rivals for 128 inside 18 overs.

Next stop - All Ireland T20 semi-final on Sunday 25th August v Cork County starting at 11am in Stormont.
