of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Set in the shadow of the smouldering Sliabh Bloom mountains the 4ths dismantled the home side in a near perfect first half. The bowling quartet of Jennings, Purbiya, Gulati and Naseem bundled the table toppers out for 73 in 21 overs. Jennings 2/28 and Purbiya 2/8 bowled the first 12 on another blistering day removing the top four for 20. Gulati 3/12 and Naseem 3/22 finished the job. All bowled with skill and complemented each other. Following the intermission we set about our humble task. The mat may have been a little fruity and the outfield on the long side but before you could say "Cut" we were 27 for 7. Decent bowling and plain bat batting, I'm afraid. However, there was a twist. Teenage Liam Lydon 24* batted with fluency and without fear. Unfortunately he ran out of partners and we fell 6 heartbreaking runs short!
