Great team spirit was shown by the minor girls in Rush as they did their best in deteriorating weather conditions. All ten Malahide girls batted and bowled, with some debuts amongst the pack. Backing up in the field was particularly good and the girls gained good experience from their first outing. The heavy rain towards the end of the match did not make life easy for our bowlers, resulting in a loss by 27 runs. However the team certainly shows promise for the season ahead.
