A perfect day for Cricket, FA Cup Final's and Royal weddings, but a tough trip out to The Vineyard for the Malahide Junior A Boys team.

The Hills won the toss and batted first and got off to a flyer with two of their top three retiring quickly in the 30's. Strong performances throughout their order gave them a tasty total of 131 for us to chase. Only highlight for us was Oliver JC with the ball. 4 overs, 2 for 9.

Our innings needed a flying start too, but early wickets tumbled. Star of our innings was Aaron Doyle, borrowed from the Minor Boys squad for the day. A blistering 32 not out, including 6 thunderous boundaries and looking very comfortable throughout. Well supported by James Dickinson with another steady not out performance, ending up on 15 and Ellis with a quick 11.

We ran out of overs with just 77 on the board.
