Fielding first against a strong Ring Commons team in the 2nd round of the Junior Cup proved to be hard work in the sun. However, the lads stuck to it with economic bowling particularly from Zak Woods-Oliver (Econ 3.75) and a big effort in the field.

Chasing 288 always looked a tall order but pleasingly we showed we could bat for all the 40 overs. The ultimate total of 158 in which Kevin (39) & Wilhelm (33) put scores together, gives us something we can build on towards the end of the season.
