It was a good start to the match and our fielding when Juliette Evans Garrett took a wicket with the second ball. Chloe Bryan went on to take 3 wickets and Abby McCabe took 1 in her first match for MCC. Some tight bowling by Aoife and Saibh Mitchell kept the runs down as did a maiden over from Emelia Tarbox. Unfortunately a high loss of wickets when we batted was our downfall. Abby McCabe batted extremely well for her first outing hitting two fours and scoring 11. Beth Deacon and Juliette Evans Garrett finished the innings with a score of 21 between them.
