Match played in Sandymount on Saturday morning, Malahide won the toss and after a quick pitch inspection by our umpire and adjustments made, we asked the home side to pad up first. Some tight opening bowling restricted their run rate, however the middle order made up for this and they scored heavily, posting a total of 119 for the loss of only 2 wickets. Good fielding from YM meant we were always struggling to reach the target and we ended the match 48 runs short.
