Good result for the U13b's at The Maws

Another fine cricketing display from the U13 group produced a handy victory over a very young North Kildare team.  Captain for the day Ciaran, with advice from his team mates, won the toss and elected to bat.  The innings essentially unfolded according to plan, with openers Rory and Eoghan seeing off the bowling attack.  Both lads were dismissed for 19 enjoying an opening partnership of 46. First drop, Christopher continued the scoring carrying his bat for 14.  Well done to Thomas on his first runs in competitive league cricket.  A final score of 98 gave North Kildare something to think about.
Supported by two very good run outs, one a direct hit from Rory, the bowling attack successfully subdued the North Kildare batting.  Wickets to Ciaran, Diarmuid, Christopher, and Thomas were complemented by the two earned by Adam D.   Good bowling by Adam R, Daniel's wicket keeping is improving with every game and excellent fielding from Jake in his first U13b game.  
A good team effort for the 31 run win.
