Sensible, late order batting from Gary Stewart 23*, Ronan McGeehan 30 and Chris Siddell 17* rescued the 3's in their tussle with Clontarf on the Top Pitch.  Earlier, our nearest rivals threatened a big score until Hamish Manks put the brakes on with a fine spell of 2/14 in 9.  Conor Gibbons continued his excellent form with 2/27 off 9.  Stewart took 3 wickets for 28.  Siddell had difficulties on the rain affected slippery artificial surface but still picked up 3 wickets for 61. Off spinner Benlee and leg spinner Will Richardson both received tap but both showed signs that with more overs under their belts consistancy will follow.  Brian Gilmore 36, Desmond Horstmann 24 and Stephen Rubbathan 17 contributed to the team effort.  In the end the 3's won by 2 wickets and maintained a top of the table position.
