In a remarkable game in the village, our 1st XI reached the Senior Cup Final for the first time in 16 years. Batting first the home side were soon in deep trouble at 11-3 with veteran Naz Shoukat taking all 3. Then came a brilliant stand of over 200 from Fintan (106) and Callum (73). Another flurry of wickets and Malahide finished on 245 which felt a bit under par for 60 overs but was more than might have been.

Important wickets fell at important times for Malahide and the Hills came up 65 runs short
