7-9.30PM - THURSDAY NIGHT SERIES OCTOBER TO DECEMBER COMMENCING TONIGHT 7.30pm
BAR OPEN FROM 5-30 TO 10-30
We are running a an audio visual series covering Irelands development from the early 1900's to modern times, these will be 60-75 minutes presenting pictorial images, jogging memories and generating discussion about times past, memorable moments in the nations history etc. - at the moment we have enough content for 10-11 weeks and the club is opening the bar every thursday to facilitate this initiative and I w ould like to thank Michael Hinch in particular for his knowledge and expertise in putting this together.
I do understand that this is short notice ( my fault!) but.... this series will be running until early December but we are having a FREE kick-off session tonight, covering 1912-1922 or thereabouts.....
it would be great if you could come along and perhaps fill in some of the answers or background to these images....or join us in the coming weeks.....
A bit like a pub quiz but everybody wins!!! (now there's an idea for a quiz in the future!)
