The quiz is in aid of My Canine Companion which does not receive any Government funding and rely on organised charity events, collections and charitable donations. It would be great if you could join us for our quiz to help fundraiser for Hannah Pyne and her amazing service dog Spirit who are part of the Malahide Cricket Club family.

"My Canine Companion is a national charity who provide accredited service dogs to people with autism. These highly skilled service dogs provide safety, independence and companionship. They also provides a range of therapy dog services including a very successful school therapy dog programme.

My Canine Companion does not charge their clients and the cost of providing fully qualified service dogs  is €15,000.

PART TIME BAR MANAGER

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take responsibility for the management of Malahide Cricket Club Bar facilities including.

Job Responsibility
The Bar Manager is responsible for managing, planning, monitoring and controlling all aspects of the Bar and its facilities (including a small function room).

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar bar management role.

Salary/wages is negotiable based on level of experience

Mininum Hours Per week 25

Overall management & scheduling of support staff where required

Facilitate bar facilities for club events in association with & support of the appropriate subcommittee

Takes pride in a job well done, committed to best practice in service, cleanliness and hygiene

Previous experience with planning and managing events

Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel

Has authorisation to work in Ireland with a working/acceptable command of the English language

Flexibility with regards to working hours

Is Garda Vetted

Holds a current Manual Handling Certificate

This position reports directly to the club chairman of the executive committee or a nominated member of that committee.
