Reminder on T20 Stadium Build

As you are all aware, Malahide Cricket Club is hosting 3 T20i's between Ireland and India on the 18th, 20th and 23rd of August.

To facilitate the hosting of these matches, our car park will be partially closed for the week of the 17th of July.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week the front car park will be closed to the members to enable the large articulated vehicles to deliver the materials for the build of the Corporate Marquees.

On Thursday and Friday, the back car park will be closed to the members and you will need to use the front car park.

Please DO NOT LEAVE  your car overnight on Sunday the 16th of July. Malahide Cricket Club will not be responsible for damage that might occur because your car is in the way.

Also, if we have to have your car removed, this will be for your own cost on collection of the vehicle at the collection site.

The following week starting the 24th of July, the car park will be closed to everyone during the day and access will only be available from 5:30pm.

SUMMER CAMP

On the 3rd of July the Club was rocking with 80 excited young cricketers taking to the pitch.  Hunter and the fabulous youth coaches treated the eager campers to a week of games, skills and fun.

As ever we had lots of familiar faces from our terrific cats, cubs and minor youth teams, we also welcomed lots of new children who were learning about cricket for the first time and there was some real talent spotted by the coaches.

The MPL(Malahide Premier League) kicked off on Thursday Morning.  The Londis Lions, Clubhouse Squirrels, Grand Groillas, Estuary Eagles, Castle Knights and Marina Sharks entered into the biggest competition of the season.  The coaches guided their teams throughout the league but in the end the two teams left standing were the Marina Sharks and the Clubhouse Squirrels left to fight it out on the beautifully manicured pitch, they played their hearts out and in the end this year the winners were the Marina Sharks.

It was a pleasure to see all of the children, play, support and encourage each other throughout the week.  We are delighted to welcome our new members that have started to attend the training sessions since the camp
