The U11C boys lost their final game of the season on a overcast and blustery Sunday morning.

Malahide won the toss and put Balbriggan in to bat.The away team batted well but our fielding was good taking 7 wickets. Advik made 2 amazing catches from Lucas Thornes bowling. Further wickets came from bowlers Kyle Murray, Luke Stratton, Sean Burke (2) and Andrew Thornes. Unfortunately we gave away too many extras adding to Balbriggans total.  

Our batsmen played wonderful cricket too. Stuart Deacon hit is first 6 of the season and Sean Binnions managed to get four 4's. However in the end it wasn't enough and we lost by 23 runs.

Special thanks to Balbriggan CC, Jacob and the travelling supporters for a great final game which was both thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.
