Unfortunately last night's Women's 1st XI match v Hills was conceded due to the lack of a grass playing wicket being available for the match.

This was due to an internal miscommunication within the club, and not due to external facility bookings, as inaccurately discussed on social media.  

The club would like to wholeheartedly apologise to our own players and to The Hills CC. We have 'had a shocker', we have learnt from that and we have put in place a process to ensure it won't happen again. 

Malahide CC values Women's cricket and is proud of the vast number of Women players that represent the club and their achievements in senior, junior and across the representative teams they represent. The improvement in performance of the Women's and Girls teams in recent years is one of the success stories of Malahide CC.
