A strong visiting Rush Team were put in to bat by Malahide and performed well from the start with Numbers 2 and 3 both retiring on 21 Not Out. A healthy total of 97 for 4 was going to be hard work for Malahide to chase down.

Lots of good performances from all our boys, particularly Josh Moore who had taken two key Rush wickets with the ball and now followed that up with 20 runs, retired not out with the bat. But a spirited effort from the whole team unfortunately running out of overs still 43 runs short.
