The U11B boys travelled to Clontarf and were put into bat. The sun was shining and Malahide got off to a steady start with James and Stuart. Sean B and Sean H put together a good partnership, as did Finn and Jack. William and Rian demonstrated some powerful hitting and brought the Malahide total to 76 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. 

The Malahide boys battled hard in the field with some outstanding boundary fielding by James, two brilliant run outs by Liam and Tommy and a great wicket keeper catch by William. Clontarf batted very well and finished their innings 101 for 5 wickets, a win by 40 runs.
