A convincing 86 run victory over Merrion meant the Girls U11A team finished top of the league as well as cup champions. Malahide batted first. There was great running from Saibh Mitchell and Niamh Coleman as well as fours from Katie Brophy, Lienkies de Klerk and Beth Deacon. Juliette Evans Garrett  made 23 and finished her batting season with a six which gave Malahide a total of 110 for 2 wickets. Merrion then had to face our bowling which began with  a wicket maiden from Katie followed by more wickets from Teagan Devally, Juliette and Lienkies. Extremely tight bowling from Aoife Burke ensured that Merrion struggled to make runs. It was a great way to finish an fantastic season for the girls.
