Facing very strong opposition over consecutive weekends, losing to Rush by 49 runs and then to a fine Leinster 11 by 9 wickets,  the U13A lads did not disgrace themselves. Some strong batting, good fielding and pacy bowling over the two games auger well for the remainder of the season.

Team captain Rory's return innings to the 11 complemented Wilhelm's two not out tallies, with Eoghan stepping up to responsibly open against Rush.  Ciaran was welcomed back to bowl a very good length and effect a run out; Adam D bowled tidy offspin; Diarmuid was very quick and unlucky; Finn DD bowled a very good over and Christopher bagged a couple of wickets. Good keeping from Daniel and Wilhelm, with the latter gloving three catches. Oliver held a good catch as well.  Dedication in the field from Jack B, Finn D, Zohaib, Chris GE and Cory.
