Malahide then got on top with Tess Maritz (3-18) and Isobel McCormack(2-14) doing the damage backed up with some good fielding particularly crucial catches by Grace and Lara and super direct hit by keeper Caoimhe hitting the bowlers wicket. Pembrokes 8th wicket partnership B.McGinty(6*) and Ash Carthy(10*)put on valuable runs to post 74 for 8 in their 20 overs.Malahide lost Caoimhe McCann early but Tess Maritz (37*) and Grace Flanigan(32*) batted well and took advantage of couple dropped catches in the atrocious rain that closed in during the second innings to win the game in the 14^th over.
