Match report In the end a good victory for the 3rds that became a lot closer than it should have done. Another century plus partnership between Hamish and Gaz laid a great foundation but as has happened in the last few weeks , Malahide weren't able to push onto 250-260 that would have made the game safe. However, for a long time 214 looked more than enough as a great opening spell from Conor and Cameron soon reduced to Pembroke to 41 for 4. A great spell from Benlee soon further reduced the home team to 71 for 7 and they looked down and out. A superb partnership of over 100 between Mikey Hoey and Joe Prendergast took Pembroke to within sight of an unlikely victory. Eventually Hamish took the vital wicket of Hoey and Des cleaned up the last 2 wickets.
