Match report Terenure Rugby Club visited the Village this evening and batted first on the top pitch. The opening bowlers Paerry & Shoebridge the Elder pinned the visitors back with tight bowling in the first 4 overs. The pressure was exerted by Oliver, Logan and Shoebridge the Younger who gave very few runs away. The Terenure tail was wiped out by Harry D who's last over saw 3 wickets fall with 2 sharp run outs and a middle stump dismissal. Set a target of 74 to win Malahide laboured for the opening overs until Dougie & Pearry pushed the rate up. The Peach replaced Dougie who chased a loose ball and lost. The Peach who has won in the early morning charity raffle maintained his good luck as he pushed the score along at his own man of the match rate. Needing 12 from 16 balls the Chair & Condron decided one over was only required and secured the first win of the season. Well done skipper Mal !
