Match report
A good win for the U15's in a game that Malahide were on top in for most of the match but some sloppy fielding let Clontarf get within 9 runs of pulling off an unlikely victory. Malahide posted 139 in their 30 overs, Riley Shoebridge top scored with 34 and John Burke made an excellent 27 not out. They were also helped by a "wopping" 27 extras bowled by Clontarf. Clontarf's innings got off to the worst possible start when excellent bowling from Sean Drumm and Ryan Condron reduced them to 12 for 3. Maybe because Malahide always felt they were in the driving seat, Clontarf fought their way back into the match and were only 9 runs short of the target at the end of their 30 overs.
