Match report U13 Boys Cruise into Plate Semi-Final

The U13 boys produced an all-round team display to comfortably beat Greystones in the Plate quarter-final on Thursday evening. An accomplished bowling and fielding performance provided the platform for victory, with nine individual bowlers, three run-outs, two great catches from Cormac Burke and Killian Burke, and several boundary stops. The final Greystones wicket fell in the final over with the score on 62, with wickets spread across 6 bowlers - Jacob Whelan (1-6), David O'Halloran (2-8), Zac Woods-Oliver (1-3), Tom Hogan (1-3), Cillian Keohane (1-5) and Luke Donnelly (1-2).

In reply, Malahide quickly reeled in the target in 13 overs, with Cormac (14) and Jacob (9) getting the team nearly half-way there with the opening stand alone. Killian (7) and Connor (2) also contributed before it was left to Luke Donnelly and Ryan Court to steer the team home.
