Malahide Cricket Club Taverners v Dalkey Archives on Fri 27 Jul 2012 at 18:00
Malahide Cricket Club Lost by 29 runs

Match report Friday evening saw the return match of teh Dalkey pair and as soon as Dalkey got in to bat they set about the Malahide bowlers with 84 on the card at the end of 9 overs. A strong batting line up meant less than half of the 10 bowlers managed to keep their 2 overs within single figures. Solid bowling from Mike Shoebridge and Danny S supported with some unorthadox bowling from Harry D with Captain Kev plundering a late wicket kept the visitors just below 150.
While openers Ogilvy and Keegan both managed to gain maximums the visitors bowling kept the run rate below the target rate required and despite a 20 from young Ryan Condron standing in for his Dad the remainder of the batters found chasing the run total too much and we fell too many short. As usual a good meal (thanks Conor & Co) followed and that was followed by a few soft drinks to quench the thirst.
