Match report
A comprehensive victory based on the foundations of an excellent bowling display. Using 9 bowlers and with a wide variety of bowling styles, right arm seamers (Scott Talbot), left arm swing (Sean Drumm), leg spin (Ryan Condron), left arm spin (Riley Shoebridge), Malahide made it very difficult for Merrion to make use of the lightening fast outfield. Everyone bowled well but the stand out figures were from Ryan Court who took 2 wickets without conceeding a run. In reply, Malahide made very short work of chasing the total , reaching their target in just the 7th over. Sean Drumm (26 retired) and Scott Talbot (25 retired) were the batting stars. Mention should also be made about Patrick Cherry who performed very well on his club debut.
