Match report On Saturday July 23rd, the Malahide U11C boys team lost to Rush by 25 runs. Rush batted first, and straight bowling was rewarded with wickets for Joe Kennedy, Jacob Whelan and Elliot Manks. A tight fielding display, particularly from Daniel Murphy, Diarmuid Burke, Killian Burke and Isaac Elebert kept Rush to a reachable total of 113 for 3. In reply, Connor Kennedy started well for Malahide and was backed up by Cillian and Eoghan Keohane who both contributed good boundaries. However Malahide were always behind the asking rate and whilst Seb and Cameron Wolf, Oliver Manks and Tom Reed all kept their wickets intact, Malahide fell short in the end reaching 93 for 3. A tough loss but a great effort all round.
