Match report 4TH XI Season concludes with a Victory,
With the 4TH XI being relegated to Division 8 this last game was one for pride. Played at the beautiful St McGrath's park Bagenalstown won the toss and put Malahide into bat. Despite a slow start and early wickets lost, Malahide were able to put up a healthy recovery Benlee Muttahotill (38) and Glen Cosgrove (39) batted Malahide out of trouble and helped to significantly increase the run rate. C S Koushik hit 42 in a fine notch, which pushed Malahide to a competitive 159 off 40 Overs. In response Bagenalstown struggled with the bat as Conor Gibbons ran riot with the ball (4-17) assisted by Inderjit Singh (2-33) Skipper Ray Stapleton's 45 was the only real resistance, it was not enough as Bagenalstown fell 60 runs short.
Result: Malahide win by 60 Runs.
