Malahide 4 won the toss and chose to bat on a wet and rainy Sunday Afternoon. Despite an early set back, Malahide began to get on top of the bowling with some fine innings by Inderjit Singh (50) Willie Richardson (61) and John Brogan (51) From the Malahide innings they set Balbriggan a target of 211 to win. The Malahide bowling attack showed little mercy as they tore through the Balbriggan batting, with Desmond Horstmann (3-28) Conor Gibbons (3-29) and another fine performance by Leon Pappan (4-31) There was little resistance from Balbriggan with only Ciaran Malone getting beyond 20 with a quality 35. Malahide win by 73 Runs.
