In the 3RD XI's penultimate game of the season at Anglesea Road, Merrion won the toss and put Malahide into bat. Malahide began to lose early wickets, however a 102 run partnership between Hamish Manks (58) and William Richardson (49) managed to steer Malahide out of the choppy waters, After 33.2 Overs, the rain came down after a long delay and an early tea. The match was reduced to 42 overs a side. A very quick 21 by Richard Brown Helped Malahide post a very respectable 183 after their 42 overs.
