In a rain-effected fixture kindly refixed by Terenure, a good turnout of parents witnessed a very entertaining game of cricket, the result of which went right down to the wire.  On the second ball of the last over, with no wickets in hand and 4 to win, Adam launched a slightly short delivery over the square leg boundary to gain maximum runs and an unexpected win.
Terenure won the toss and batted.  Courtesy one very good innings, perhaps smaller than normal boundaries, a few too many wides and some below par fielding, a total of 91 was reached.  Wickets to Binyam, Rory and Christopher and Finn taking the challenge of 'keeping were standouts, with Diarmuid unlucky with his overs. 
Chasing more than expected, Rory and Ben stepped up to open the batting and both got starts before being dismissed.  Matthew hit 20, his top score of the season; Binyam, Eoghan, and Paul also all got starts. Tony defended at the death very well, enabling Adam to hit that remarkable 6, and cap off a team batting effort. Well done lads.
