5ths Beaten by Cabinteely

Malahide 5ths hosted a strong Cabinteely 1st team on the bottom pitch on Saturday. 
Put in to bat, Cabinteely started well but were pegged back in the middle of the inning by some classy spin bowling (Ryan Condron 1-27 & Zak Woods-Oliver 3-32), as well as first league wickets for Ben Askew (1-12) and Dan Reed with an excellent (3-10). At 136-9 an upset looked possible. But an aggressive last wicket pair put on 86 to leave Malahide chasing 223 to win.
