MCC were asked to field first and took regular wickets with a good bowling display.  Wilhelm de klerk starred with 3-11, Oliver Manks 2-11, William Hackett a fine 2-10.  Pembroke finished 81-11 (net 26).  MCC batted like the game was already won but soon found themselves behind the score.  The Pembroke bowling was as good as MCC's and technique was found and it was left to the last pair Wilhelm and the much improved William Hackett to score 18+ runs without loosing a wicket.  The lads batted and ran very well to secure the win.
