An indifferent fielding effort, too many short-pitched deliveries and  an inability to protect the stumps saw the U13a team lose by 35 runs to a far more disciplined Clontarf eleven.
The least said about this performance the better, however each individual can take some comfort from aspects of his performance. Daniel M hit 12 and his 'keeping is improving every week; Dan R and Matthew bowled a great line and length, each taking two wickets; Diarmuid batted stylishly for his 27; Ciaran effected an important run out; Christopher and Adam each took a wicket; Eoghan and Finn bowled well without success; Binyam and Jed contributed in the field.
