A Malahide U15 XI travelled to Castle Avenue with 7 U13's and 2 U11's to face the mighty Clontarf. Malahide won the toss and had first go and were soon under fire from quickie Shane Corbett. After bravely fending off a few bouncers and beamers, wickets started to fall and the innings became a struggle. A bit of tailend resistence from Finn and Diarmuid and Malahide were bowled out for 57 in the 20th over.
U11 leg spinner Sam Foster bowled two great overs but in the end the home side romped home with 8 wickets and 10 overs to spare
