The U11b boys team on the top pitch faced a "strong" U11b line up from the Hills.  Fielding first the team bowled great line and length.  Special credit to Finn Doran and Justin Court on their maiden hard ball game,  Justin also taking his first wicket. The good bowling was backed with some sharp fielding with special mention to Oliver Manks who effected 2 run outs with direct hits.  The Hills finished 76 for 7 (net 41).  The MCC batting was solid without being destructive.  but more pleasingly there was no unnecesary run outs.  Needing 19 off the last 4 overs Whilhelm and Jack batted well to bring the team home for a 3 run win.  A very entertaining and enjoyable match, well done lads.
