The 2nd XI won their friendly on the top pitch with ease but worryingly skipper Nick Turner ended the day in Beaumont Hospital.
Batting first Malahide made 280-4 in their 40 overs with good contributions from Keith Reynolds (51*), Will Kindley (40*) and James Garrigan (49).
The home sides bowling attack was too strong for the weekend weary tourists and they were all out for 105 with two wickets for Cameron Shoebridge, Neil Boyne, Will Kindley & Riley Shoebridge.
